Indications:

Cinacalcet is a calcium-sensing receptor agonist indicated for:
Secondary Hyperparathyroidism (HPT) in patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD) on dialysis.
Hypercalcemia in patients with Parathyroid Carcinoma (PC).
Severe hypercalcemia in patients with primary HPT who are unable to undergo parathyroidectomy.

Dosage and Administration:

Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor has told you. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
This medicine must be taken orally, with or shortly after food.
The tablets must be taken whole and are not to be divided.
Your doctor will take regular blood samples during treatment to monitor your progress and will adjust your dose if necessary.

Contraindication:

Hypersensitivity to any components of this product.
Hypocalcemia: Cinacalcet treatment should not be initiated if serum calcium is less than the lower limit of the normal range.
